Gangamma is a member of sujala watershed development project linked SHG she availed Rs. 20,000 loan from bank to purchase cow. Then she constructed cattle rearing shed, milk cans etc., she was getting 15 lts of milk from cattle rearing.
At the rate of Rs. 10 per litre of milk per month she was earning Rs. 4500 per month cattle feed, grass her labor, transportation expenditure put together she spent Rs. 2500.
Her total profit is Rs. 2000/- from that towards loan installment interest, insurance etc., her expenditure was rs. 1000/- now her net profit is rs. 1000/- per month.
